Ghislain Grellier is a Los Angeles-based multidisciplinary artist whose work moves between abstraction and colorful interpretations of the California landscape.

His abstract paintings are inspired by his relation to dance. Through texture, movement, and layered compositions, he creates imagined worlds that invite the viewer to look beyond the familiar and find their own meaning within each piece.

His figurative work draws from the architecture and landscapes of the California desert. Inspired by Palm Springs, swimming pools, modernist homes, desert vegetation, and the distinctive light of Southern California, these paintings transform everyday scenes into vibrant environments.

Across these different bodies of work, Grellier is interested in atmosphere, place, and imagination, exploring both the worlds that surround us and those that exist beyond what we can see.
